Simple Venison Burgers Recipe

Follow this simple venison burger recipe for some tasty burgers perfect to whack on the BBQ. Add some fries, colslaw and side salad – BBQ perfection!

Ingredients

  • 500g venison mince
  • ½ a large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 large cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 handful of fine breadcrumbs
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional bbq\chilli\spicy\herby seasoning. Choice is yours.

Method

Mix the venison mince and other dry ingredients together in a bowl (add the seasoning of your choice)
When its well mixed, add the beaten egg, which will make the mixture bind together.

Make 4\6 meat patties, simple burger press is very effective, although easily shaped and flattened with hands.

Ideally whack ’em on the BBQ, but can be cooked in lightly oiled frying pan.

Cook for 15 mins on BBQ or low\med hob heat.

Serve with a nice cheese, pickle, light salad in a fresh lightly toasted brioche bun. Enjopy!

Serve with a side of homemade coleslaw and chunky fries.
